Last year, temperatures in Phoenix were over 100 degrees for 122 days of the year.
Phoenix pools were open, on average, 51 days.
So a group of moms got together and decided: Let’s fix that.
We’re all-volunteer. We’re all swimmers. We believe Phoenix’s public pools should be open longer, for more of the year, for more people. So we’re doing something about it.
We’re registered as an Arizona nonprofit corporation. Our IRS tax-exempt status is pending. We’re building this effort from the ground up.

This is our first post. There will be many more as we work toward the future.
We’ll get there. Because every kid deserves to swim.
